Those people seemed miserable. I would like a network to do a head to head comparison of Atkins, South Beach, Weight Watchers and BFL. I'm sure there a lots of others, but these seem to be the big ones right now. I bet the results would surprise people. I suspect if they just randomly chose a group of people, the results would be similar as those on this program. I don't think their purpose was to show inspiration but to show that most people won't stick with any program, because of a lack of planning or commitment. It's not the program as much as the person....The program emphasized the importance of consistent exercise. An interesting program for me would be to compare long term success examples of each of a few programs to see what lead to their success and maintenance of that lifestyle. Guest guest
Yes, they said to slow it down and with medication, he was able to recover from the gout. I agree that they didn't look healthy. They all agreed to come back in a year. With BFL, even if you don't lose a lb, you are at least going to look healthier. I just looked at my face pic in the files from 1999, 2 years before BFL and I looked frightening. Andy > They said to slow it down when he had gout? It wasn't really that inspirational, was > it? > > R.
