Recurrent fevers?

Hi,

does anybody deal with recurrent fevers? My son had three in the last 1

1/2 months, without any symptoms, just high fevers. All blood, urine and

stool tests came back negative except CRP which was 10 instead of 1. It

is somekind of infection, most likely. The infectious disease specialist

talked about PFAPA, a periodic fever syndrome. We have to wait until

saturday or beginning of next week since this would be the timeframe for

the next fever episode. If not, they have to test further, pediatrician

mentioned tumors. I am so worried, can't help. Please let me know if

anybody experienced something similar. My son is turning 4 next months.

Bless you,

Sabine
