When the On-call ER doctor from a certain hospital calls to give me a report, I

will often joke, " Which part did you CT scan this time? " It seems like they

have a quota or something!

Cute....but my first question is why did the first 2 patients go to the hospital at all? Diarrhea and UTI....shoulda gone to a PCP first!  That's what's wrong with health care in the USA....

of course it is  pretty snotty , demeaning  what LMDs- local MDs do -- lot s  of class hierachy  as if UH is bettter    they are saying-- -- in my neck of the woods  it is the UH  who do  too many studies   but I am  being too serious:)

They are a funny bunch
