Your letter really hurt me when I read it and yes I did read it

all :-} How terrible for you!

Sam, I think you answered your own question about why chiari people

should not have spinal taps from all that you had to go through. It is

maddening to me that technicians like to come off as if they know all about

everything. They reassure you when they don't know what the hell they are

even talking about. You know more than they do about chiari. Never doubt it

for a minute!!

Spinal taps can cause chiari to progress. It is up to the individuals

body just how much. It could be that, what you experienced from it is all

that will happen with you. Are you feeling better today or are you still in

misery?

I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a terrible experience. Please

hold out now for a doctor who knows about chiari. You can do it! You can

fight for it! There are ways of making your Ins. agree to out of area care

.....I have seen it happen time and again with this group. There is also

angel flight if you can't afford to travel. I hope everything turns out

well for you. I am keeping you in my prayers.
