It was a miracle that brought them together and it made the loss easier for the boy's family to bear--perhaps this is for you too. I think everyone who has a transplant has some degree of " survivor's guilt " . If you accept the gift, the best thing you can do to honor the donor is to live life to its best and fullest. Yes I did... in fact I told the story to my sister when I was visting over the holidays... that may be what made here think to talk to her boss about the possibility of directed donation.
