He will live in your heart for ever. Noreen [ ] Our Birdy : ( Hi...our little parakeet " Crackers " - affectionately called " Bubby " died early this morning at 7 years 10 months old. Always being a puupy-dog or kitty-cat girl, I had NO idea how much I could come to love this beautiful little green fellow who sang to us, played with us and kept us company all this time. He seemed to start to go down hill about a week ago, but to the best of our understanding he did not seem to be suffering at all. He couldn't move too much, but he ate like a little piggy and drank his water, he let Em hold him, and he would sing with me when I came over to sing with him. I have two birds (an African Grey and a Quaker parrot) and they are smart, sweet companions. I believe pets are like family-they offer so much.
