Guest guest
per Dr Palmer's Giude to Hepatitis and Liver Disease, the normal range of iron in the blood is between 30 and 160 micrograms per deciliter. Iron is stored in the cells of the body as ferritin. The normal ferritin level found on blood tests is 15 to 200 micrgrams per liter. Sounds like a wide normal range. Too much iron is toxic to the liver, so I'd be careful if you are near the limits (i don't remember what you said your results were.) Take care.
