Guest guest
Made the lettuce wraps again last night. Man I love this meal. I could eat it every day. Definitely excited for my planned-over wraps again tonight! I find the recipe needs an extra splash of low- sodium soy sauce and an extra shake of 5 spice powder. And I use 2 extra shittake mushrooms. Woke up this morning and did my cardio. Jumped on the scale and found that I am down 12 pounds at the end of week 6! And definitely seeing muscle growth. Pants are looser! Feeling great! We are headed on vacation at the end of the week to Florida to visit my folks. They have a gym in their clubhouse, but my wife and I will have to pay an $8 guest fee (each) every day. I will probably do my cardio outside (running) and only do weights at the gym. Too damn expensive otherwise. I sent my mother a huge shopping list to help us on our plan. She is a serial dieter and has just gotten into the gym recently (she is 62) so she is very supportive and will try to help us stay on the program. Guest guest
Yay Ari!!! GREAT progress so far. Pants looser is actually a better indicator than the scale, but hey we take what we can get. Good plan for your vacation.... now make a pact with your wife that you won't blow off workouts because of vacation mentality. The nice thing about having a workout partner is that you can encourage each other. The flip side to that is it's easier to slack if the other person slacks too. (Speaking from experience).
