Hellen, I recall hearing that Office Ally is inexpensive. Then, maybe that’s something I heard about their clearinghouse feature? With regard to attaching medical records to claims, I understand billing system could soon have this feature due to the mandated HIPAA 5010 requirement. I ask my EMR vendor recently if they were 5010 compliant yet and they said BCBS was almost ready to begin testing with a plan to begin using the new features by Jan 2012. Google “HIPAA 5010” and I read some of the FAQs. I think that will help you sort out the issues you are up against in finding a vendor that meets your need. Office Ally is free but I've never attached medical records to a claim and don't know if it's possible.   Their support people are helpful, so you could call.www.officeally.com
