FD&C, oxides, etc. for coloring Easter eggs

Does anyone know if any of the colorants I may have on hand would be

safe and usable for coloring Easter eggs? It seems to me that if so,

the colors would be way more brilliant than those you get from the

little Paz kits!

FD & C Blue No. 1

FD & C Blue No. 2

FD & C Green No. 3

FD & C Red No. 3

FD & C Red No. 40

FD & C Yellow No. 5

FD & C Yellow No. 6
