AFAIK, there is NO scientific or safety reason why you couldn't use Canola Oil

in any cream, lotion, bath oil, massage oil, hair conditioner etc. . .

And I can't think of any scientific or safety reason why you couldn't use Canola

Oil with any other oil.

That being said, I've never used Canola Oil in any product because of my

unfounded concern of consumer acceptance. I just think that a consumer may not

like to see Canola

Oil in the ingredient declaration.

Thank you Maurice! I will give it a try, see how the massage oil turns out.

Can you tell me (anyone) what the INCI name for Canola is? And, what

properties this oil would offer in massage oils or lotions? There is no

information

(that I can find) available on canola, except as a cooking oil.

The only time I used Canola, I had a customer read the list of ingredients

and her reaction was rather interesting. She said, " Canola! That is

RAPESEED " ! And she put the bar down. I suspect the word rape had a very

negative

connotation for her. The sale was lost!~
