Guest guest
Dear Colleagues, Wondering if any of you has an "in" so to speak at Sloan Kettering in New York. I have a very sad case...19y/o female with myo-epithelia carcinoma, high grade. It was small lipoma looking lump on her left hip that was removed during Xmas break. This cancer is so rare that it has only been recognized and classified in the lit for about 10 years. It is very agressive and loves to metastesize. There are no protocols. Pathology was read by Fletcher at Brighams' and Women's in Boston. He is the guru on this cancer so no question of what it is rather what to do with it. I am thinking that she needs to be seen by the best of the best to have any hope at all......can anyone help??? Thank you in advance!!! This list always seems to have great thoughts, connections and creative ideas......I am listening!!
