I can't even tell you how happy she was. She said out of the 900 or so samples they have, only 50 are what they call " mulitplex " meaning more than one person has a neural tube defect in the family. I really encourage any of you, but esp. those with more than one person with a ntd in their family to contact either Duke or me. If you contact me, I'll send you the geneticist's email addy that was here. She comes to your home to draw the blood samples...can't beat that!
