Guest guest Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Thanks , glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better. Still good to keep up on some of the foundational health stuff that , Kim, etc will fill you in on. But, very nice to hear that you are finding some relief. Keep us posted, Bomdanow@... wrote: Thanks Bo, that gives me a little something to look foward too. I actually am in my second week of being off Paxil and i am starting to feel better. I still cant believe what that poison does to people... Im in shock!! I hope you stay healthy. -------------- Original message -------------- , I have not been on the computer for about four days but went through some of the old posts, so but not all so don't know if you have gotten a ton of response for your post yet or not. But, I will give you my experience. I quit Paxil cold turkey (yikes!). I had the same crazy symptoms that you expressed, but felt much better after about a month. Just wanted to let you know that is when I felt a break through. After going through this I talked to a psych. Who expressed that with drugs particularily Paxil and Effexor he expressed people are having what they now have to call discontinuation withdrawal. He told me that a month was usually when people's serotonin levels adjusted back to normal. But, like you can see on this site nobody has the same experience on these drugs. So, I am hoping that you feel better much faster. Sorry you were ever given this stuff. Paxil gave me really adverse reactions. yuck! lol, Bogidon40 wrote: I have been off paxil "poison" for 8 days now and I am still feeling horrible (crying, moody, head feels like i am getting zapped at least four times an hour)When do these withdrawl symtoms go away, I feel like im losing my sanity....This has by far been the worst 8 days of my life.Any suggestions/answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, To subscribe to the off-topic list go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/socialWandR/ Do you Yahoo!?Yahoo!
