Hi - do you think the flu shot started this flare you are in? I am

currently dithering about whether to have one or not - my GP is keen. It is

not a live virus but I still keep putting it off as I dont want a setback

with AP - but then getting flu would be a set back too if I dont get the

shot!! I'd love to hear other peoples experiences re flu shots. [ we are

just going into winter down here]

- a small reduction in your antibiotic dose might help get out of the

flare.

Barbara and Gang, I had a client who's hubby is a Infectious Disease dr.. I

asked him about getting a flu shot a few years back. He said if I were his

daughter he wouldn't let me get it. He said ,I hope that answers your question.

He feels that having an autoimmune disease puts me in a compromised position.

He did not think my system could handle it. Also most shots are egg based and

people have strong reactions to the egg. Take care, Yoly
