Guest guest
Hello and thank you for your words of kindness and concern. I saw my primary md this afternoon for non-related tsc problem. Every time I see this person he just shakes his head and says you can't keep going this way, meaning being a nurse. He means well but nursing is in my blood and for the last 5 months I have been working two days a week in the medical secretary office at the same facility and even doing that the pains are still there and just as serve. So, I told him today that the day I will stop working will be the day I can no longer remain continent, insurance approval or not. Then you won't have to keep reminding me. He says your too young to be in this shape I say I can't help it that I was born with this and I thank god that my spina bifida was not the worse one could have and allowed me to walk, have three wonderful children and yea I may some day sooner that others be in a wheelchair but it's OK with me. take care, gloria
