Guest guest
I have had all kinds of crazy hand symptoms, i.e.,numbness, loss of use, pain, soreness, muscle fatigue, finger twitching, etc. What has noticeably helped is turmeric. I could only type a few minutes than rest. But since Turmeric, I can type for hours. All those other supplements help as well. I am not sure how much Samento has helped with this. I have one family member who says it really helps his knees. For me, Samento/Cat's Claw take away some of my fatigue. I have another family member who says the same, takes away his fatigue. I usually get a worsening of symptoms upon a new treatment, before the symptoms start decreasing. Love and prayers, Heidi N I have used Samento in the past and did not see too many things from it. I probably did not stick with it long enough due to my impatience factor. I did see a difference when I increased the Raintree Cat's Claw from 1 caps a day to 2 (I was working up). However, I have been on a low dose resveratrol for a while this time and that could be the difference.I am wondering if my hand hurting (I have RA or "mixed connective tissue disease") is actually a herx reaction from increasing some of these things gradually. I have had "trigger finger" for the last couple of months and I did notice that the locking up part seems to have gone away since I have been increasing the cat's claw. I also take a pretty good dose of serrapeptase, so this could also be helping with that aspect.I am not sure if these are herx reactions or just plain old symptoms. It is hard for me to know since I have only just started addressing the Lyme part of my problems. Did you have this issue as well?Jane Make your summer sizzle with fast and easy recipes for the grill.

Guest guest
OK, I have Curcumin in my daily regimen, but only 500 mg a day. This is where I am never sure and just have to increase dosages gradually to see if it helps. I did read that it may not be well absorbed and was thinking of switching to the LEF Curcumin with Bioperine. Did you find that a particular type worked better for this or did you not have any issues with it? Guest guest
Jane: I take 1500mg turmeric twice a day, and have taken the same amount of curcumin twice a day. I would say the curcumin did seem to work slighty better. Adding bioperine did also seem to make it work slightly better. I will say that turmeric doesn't always absorb. I took it with a fat and a digestive enzyme, and then it absorbed. My new fat is Nigella Sativa, instead of cod liver oil. I have been taking 3,000mg of turmeric daily for maybe two years now. I really can't stop taking it. It does so much for us all. If I were to stop taking it, I would have to find something to take it's place because it decreases symptoms. I take it at the same time as all other supplements that I take, except for a chelator or homeopathic remedy. Guest guest
This helps! I will just increase the dosage gradually and see how it goes. I am thinking with the serrapeptase, it should be a pretty good combo for inflammation. Interesting about the Nigella Sativa, I will have to look at that. Thanks!
