Dear Tracey,

Haven't you heard that two's a couple and three's more fun (LOL) ! My husband has been trying to tell me that for almost 25 years (espesically if its two girls) and I don't agree either. So I'll share my herbs with you ok, but my JJ is mine alone also.

my guy feels the same way about two girls and I tell him all the time as

long as she can cook and clean. so far it's us the kids and the cat.

Glad you're on the right track !!! Anything that works will be great. I do have recipes for the oils and will be making my own. I will send you them if you'd like. I not only grow the herbs, but have made lotions and oils also.

And by all means keep having FUN, that is the only part of life the rsd/crps can't take away from us. It might not be the fun we had before, but we can make our own kind. I had major back surgery when my daughter was just 15 months old. And we used to just go outside and look at the sky together and find things in the clouds, catch bugs, smell the flowers and just enjoy the simple things. They were and still are fun for us when we are together and she is now 21. My son is 17 and just enjoys a soda at the mall and the time to talk, just the two of us. Fun is not money or physical labor, but a small delight in just being together. Hailey is a luckily little girl to have a Mommy that's know what joy it is just being with her.

Hi Barbara,

I am not sure that they have the same effect in cooking and eating that they do in the 'essential oil' form. I believe the essential oil form is going to be far more potent than the food version. Last year when I had a lot of massage therapy for awhile and we did the oils my pain and numbness went away (I did not know I had RSD then). So that is what I am going by for now. It worked before and if I really apply myself it may work this time. I have had only 2 treatments in the past two weeks (oils this week) and I am doing SO much better. I can't believe how well I I'm walking. The 'Maple Festival" is in town on the square with rides and food and all that jazz. I took Hailey today with our friends and I walked for hours. I sat down a few times to take a break and I probably over did it a little (foot a little numb) however, behind on my 'pills'. I was SO happy coming home. That song by Shania Twain came on the radio about 'Feel Like A Woman' that Hailey and I sing together and she said we can't have fun because of my leg I said we had fun today didn't we? She said yes and I said just because of my leg does not mean WE ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE FUN. I LOVE YOU AND DADDY TOO MUCH TO NOT HAVE FUN. I said I may have my good days and bad but we will still have fun! I know massage is expensive. I have met a wonderful woman that I pay a $10.00 co-pay and I will pay her a lump sum when I get my settlement. I feel blessed to have met her and know her and she is gifted. Also-I am not preaching to you all- How many of you believe that if you give the body a chance it may heal itself with proper guidance? I know you all wish this would happen. Well, I will be the Ginny pig here and try this theory. I am not saying I will 'cure' this but I think I am on the right track.

This brought tears to my eyes! Thanks so much. I had to refrain from balling as we were on the merry-go-round. She was just so wonderful and my inspiration! Yes, I would be interested in the recopies. You can send them to me privately melanie@... or to the list as others might like too, as you know. I have to type a letter to fire my current attorney as I found a new one that has dealt with RSD. It was time for him to go when he said to me "I have no documentation that you have RSD" UGH!!! Don't forget the windows ! When she's got them clean too, she can have him all to her self if she likes. Would take a big load off of me !!! I keep telling my husband that I'm strange but not that strange ( girls never turned me on).
