I am wondering if it is truly getting into his system. I'd love any information on this, esp. some posts of metals excreted in urine/fecal tests on Coastal. " I just got off the phone with Dr. Quig at Doctors' Data and he said they have literally thousands of urine challenges with the transdermal forms of both DMSA and DMPS with no, zero, zilch metals coming out. Even Buttar admits now that nothing comes out in the urine from these transdermal preparations, yet undoubtedly the kids get better. DAN! has speculated forever on what is really going on with this situation, whether some kind of oxidative stress is being handled or the sulfur is helping their detox processes even without excretion of metals. More does show up in the fecal tests, but what a drag to do after kids are out of diapers - I hardly ever do either of them anymore, but go by clinical improvement and periodic hair analyses and what I see on the RBC elements testing. Minerals getting better on hair and RBC elements tells me a lot. Apparently the docs who do the IV's do get more out with the IV challenges, but then go on to use the transdermal because clinically kids are undoubtedly improving on them. Quig told me that people should not expect to see huge dumps of mercury on the kids like we do the adults or occasionally a specific child who is massively poisoned (the exception). He said that only a very tiny bit of mercury is enough to cause enormous problems and clinical improvement is better than any test, and it is just something that is difficult to quantify.
