Astragalus is a common Chinese household herb. I delivered both of my

children via C-section. I drank Astragalus tea (together with taking

vitamin C) for 3 months after giving birth to my two children, to help with

postpartum recovery, to heal the wound, and to raise my energy level. It

promotes metabolism of serum and liver proteins, stimulates growth of

antibodies, increases white blood cells, and thus increases resistance to

viruses and intracellular bacteria. This is one of the herbs that Buhner

recommends for treating Ehrlichia.

Reishi mushrooms on the other hand are more expensive Chinese and Japanese

herbs. They have broad-array health benefits that make them sound like a

cure-all. They are great antioxidants and liver protectants as well as

immune modulators.

My son is on different herbal tinctures that contain Elderberry, Reishi, and

Astragalus.

Thanks, Limin. Sounds like it would be a good product.
