Guest guest
We just went this past weekend to Disney World in Orlando and we went on every ride and they didn't even question us once. I didn't even have to show an autism card or letter to even get the guest pass. Thought I would share that with everyone since it was recent. Good Luck To Everyone! Guest guest
That's great! We have gone many times in the last two years, (last visit September), and have always had to stand in the line for guest services to get the special pass. Even then, at the new Winnie the Pooh line, they told us our son could not get in through the special line. I wonder what has changed. Guest guest
We had a letter from my son's school, and they issued us special access passes for the dates we were there. Every time we went back, we had to get a new one. The letter was only good for a year, so then we had to get a new letter at the beginning of the school year. Do you know of any permanent card for Autism? Many Thanks for your response. so did you get the Special Access Pass? Guest guest
I received my first guest assistance pass last year. I had my letter and the person at guest services said I do not need to see it. " A parent would not lie about their child having autism." I was also told by guest services that since I am annual pass holder and come a couple of times a year to just keep my expired pass and not to bring a new letter each time. I just showed my previous pass from my last visit and they issued a current one. I have done this three times with no problems. Just to add a note, Disney World is one of the few places I can take my son and not worry what can he eat. Most of the sit down restaurants are very accommodating to our kids needs in the sense of diets. Especially, the Coral Seas restaurant in Epcot. They bend over backwards to make a great meal for them including dessert.
