Fuzzy Wuzzy Soap... how?

Dear friends,

This is a question that has been " tweaking " me for several years.

I've spent half an hour searching the message archives to see if this

topic has been discussed before and I can't find anything on it. So if

this question is a repeat, please forgive me.

How do they make the Fuzzy Wuzzy soap? It was popular when I was a kid

(yeah... I know... that really dates me!). And it is making a

resurgence in popularity.

So, here I am again, wondering how in the world they get it to grow

that fuzz. It's not mold. It's furry soap. Or so they say.

TIA,

Cyn

in Bolivia now!

Hi,

I saw this soap on e-bay and I e-mailed and asked what

the ingredients of the soap were.

Here is what they said:

The soap contains sodium tallowate, sodium cocoate,

aqua, silica, titanium dioxide, perfume. Our site, www

(dot)wonderworkshops (dot) com will soon have

Snmowman, Santa, and elf fuzzy wuzzy soap, too.

RTFLOL... wow.... ya mean it's... uh... SOAP?

<sigh>

Thanks ... that's more than I've been able to get on my searches.

I wonder if the silica really makes the difference.

Thanks,

Cyn

Cyn,

The silica, now IF it is amorphous silica anyway would increase the

" slip " on the skin, making it feel more silky..Ive never heard of it

in soap, but there is no reason it shouldn't work. Ü
