Connie,

Glad you got some meds tho, even if they are exorbitant. That's a very high

blood sugar!

This is what I use for dry eyes Aqua Site it works great. It coast a

little more than other stuff but works well. I am in my last two weeks

of treatment. The dry eyes went away at about 6 months of treatment. I

still get dry mouth. Good Luck

Jessie

I will let go of my self-imposed limitations and open my mind to new

ideas.

I must have missed a post on eyes so I'm not quite sure what the discussion is

about other than eyes in general. But, I've been experiencing eye problems also.

Sometimes my vision is so blurry that I can't read....even when I go and buy

stronger reading glasses it doesn't seem to help. And I find that my eyelids

seem

to feel a bit like sandpaper and itch alot.

Is this what is being discussed?

I guess I missed the post too, or maybe it's an old

one. My vision has gotten worse too, at a faster rate

then seems normal, too me anyway. My eyes seem dry a

lot too. This can be a sign of Sjogrens syndrome

( & dry mouth) so we should keep that in mind.

Hi everyone! Thought I would join on this conversation.

My husband, Danny, has hep c. Was diagnosed in October when a routine

physical came back with a viral load of 6 million. He went on to see a

gastro. doc who straight away recommended a liver biopsy..... results

came back as " moderate activity, mild inflammation. "

The doc recommended no treatment at the time, but wants to wait until the

new combo treatment comes out this year. We're scheduled to see the doc

again, early next month.

I know I receive the emails of the articles, but life's been crazy.....

can someone tell me what the current scoop is on when that new treatment

supposed to be available?

Re: the eyes. Just a couple of weeks ago, my hubby announced to me that

he thought he should get his eyes checked. The results of that was that

he is both nearsighted and slightly farsighted. And we couldn't help but

think that all this might be related to hep. As it came as such a

surprize, he's never had any trouble with his eyes before.

Otherwise, he has had no symptoms at all.

Elin

Elin... definitely could be related to hep.

By all means, get your eyesite checked by opthamologist before starting

treatment.

If he has only mild inflamation, he can choose to wait on treatment. However

I chose not to. I have mild inflamation but bad hep symptoms. So I'm in my

8th mo of tx and doing great.

Good luck :)
