Guest guest
This song below...was played in Thelma & Louise there toward the end when they are driving in the dark. The scene where Thelma is asleep and Louise is driving, she Grabs the bottle of Wild Turkey and takes a drink..just before she had pulled over and looked around at the scenery...I REALLY, REALLY like this song, and I only WANT THIS SONG!!! Does anyone have it?? Or know how I can get just the ONE SONG!! I am on dial up so downloading it from one of those pay sites won't work. It would take me weeks just for that one song!! A membership seems hardly worth it for just one song!! Anyway...Thought I would Toss this out there and Ask!!! nne Faithfull, Ballad Of Lucy JordanThe morning sun touched lightly onthe eyes of Lucy JordanIn a white suburban bedroomin a white suburban townAnd she lay there neath the coversdreaming of a thousand loverstil the world turned to orangeand the room went spinning roundAt the age of 37she realized she'd never ridethrough Paris in a sports carwith the warm wind in her hairSo she let the phone keep ringingas she sat there softly singingpretty nursery rhymes she'd memorizedin her Daddy's easy chairHer husband he's off to workand the kids are off to schooland there were oh so many waysfor her to spend her daysShe could clean the house for hoursor rearrange the flowersor run naked through the shady streetscreaming all the wayAt the age of 37she realized she'd never ridethrough Paris in a sports carwith the warm wind in her hairSo she let the phone keep ringingas she sat there softly singingpretty nursery rhymes she'd memorizedin her Daddy's easy chairThe evening sun touched gently onthe eyes of Lucy Jordanon the rooftop where she climbedwhen all the laughter grew too loudAnd she bowed and curtsied to the manwho reached and offered her his handand he led her down to the long white carthat waited past the crowdAt the age of 37she knew she'd found foreveras she rode along through Paris with the warm wind in her hair Hugs,Psalm 22:1-6http://andcoverageforall.info http://andcoverageforall.bravehost.com/ Both links above take you the same place!!!Owner/Founder And Coverage For All 2 Yahoo Grouphttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ACFA2/

Guest guest
Thanks Bill, but unfortunately she wasn't on there..I think this song was more of an early to mid 60's song..I don't know much about The Singer, other than like most, she got herself into much drug trouble and she dated Mick Jagger, at least thats what I have read on one site! nne Faithfull, isn't to well known apparently. Because even my husband who was born in 62' has never heard of her! But this ONE SONG....is simply a very good song..and if I can find it, I will send it. Again it's name is "Ballad Of Lucy Jordan" If you wanna keep looking too! I have a Brittish MS Message Board I go to..I am going ask them. BTW..They are really funny there!! You have to really get use to the way they talk..We have bathrooms/restrooms..they have Loos, and the list just keeps going..sometimes its like being in a different world. A world where we all have one thing in common!!! Thanks for trying Bill..I appreciate it! Guest guest
I take that back, Bill..I just found it was written in 1979 BY Mick Jagger!!! This is as close to a SAMPLE of the song as I can get....I may have to break down and buy either this album or the Thelma and Louise album..Thelma and Louise is cheaper I think!! But go to this link..and then click on number 2 on the far right were you see the little speaker..You won't hear but a part of the song....this is what I was talking about! http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/faithfull_marianne/355690/album.jhtml Hugs,Psalm 22:1-6Remember that SMiling knocks MS back!!!!http://andcoverageforall.info http://andcoverageforall.bravehost.com/ Both links above take you the same place!!!Owner/Founder And Coverage For All 2 Yahoo Grouphttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ACFA2/
