Guest guest
I applied 2 times and now I have requested a hearing, I contacted my congressman and they said It would be at least a year without help and if there is circumstances that may seem emergency they can speed it up and let the SSI know that they are watching them it will help! also I recieved some free advice from my attorney who is handling my car accident and also specializes in SSI, he says your age has a lot to do with it to I am 37 and they feel my age is too young to already be on disability(how dare them) He also says most of the time you go before the judge they already know what they are going to say, the judge has already viewed your case. and they basically are going to ask the disabled party questions like how do you get around, and what is the hardest part of your disease etc it is really up to you to convince them, an attorney can also ask you questions that will effect the judges decission, like didn't you sleep for 48 hours straight? how long were you on the floor when you fell in the bath tub alone, how much is your M>S> medications. I am not paying an attorney I hope this doesn't back fire! Meechi
