Guest guest
Mark Please explain why you should take an amino acid complex whenever you take a single amino acid ? what are the reasons ? Regards . Re: [ ] OT-Tryptophan and B12 shots-anyone have any experience with either of these? , I would recommend taking a balanced amino acid complex whenever taking a single amino acid. Was the recommendation for tryptophan 5-HTP? There should be a lot more information coming from an amino acid test than just B12 and tryptophan. You could check this page on my site for more information on amino acids http://www.carbonbased.com/AminoAcids.htm In health, Mark Schauss www.cellmatewellness.com
Guest guest
> I would recommend taking a balanced amino acid complex whenever taking a > single amino acid. I would say it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. There are lots of circumstances where you are using the amino acids in an allopathic or orthomolecular sense and DO want to give them without anything else to compete with them. Guest guest
Andy is right that there are numerous circumstances where single amino acids are okay without taking anything else at the time. There are a number, especially the branched chain aminos (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) that shouldn't be taken alone. What my concern is with amino acids is that even the safer ones like Taurine are taken for a long period of time without making sure that the balance of the other aminos and co-factors are competent. Taking glycine for a long period of time without assessing the competency of serine may cause imbalances in this important metabolic pathway. Yup. Things can get pretty pricey. This is one of the major reasons for people to take responsibility for trying to figure it out and managing their own/their kid's case - going to the doc a lot is EXPENSIVE as well as time consuming. Putting the time into figuring it out yourself makes the expense less as you see the doc less, AND you ask for more useful stuff out of the doc than otherwise, so your dollars go further. You can buy an awful lot of supplments for one doctor's visit. Consider the cost of just trying stuff to see if it helps versus seeing the doc for all supplement suggestions. Testing is mostly over once a good diagnosis is arrived at. >And how much does this change from hour to hour? Guest guest
Andy: For your scientific information, & nbsp;ALL proteins have sulfur, even the singles that you recommend. As far as whey protein being 'life threatening,' I suggest you STUDY the & nbsp;immune system-enhancing IMMUNOGLOBULINS contained within whey protein concentrate. Cancer patients, burn victims, AIDS patients, and diabetics respond favorably, since blood sugar is naturally controlled. And, without a full spectrum of protein, children will not produce appropriate neuotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, melatonin. Also, whey protein concentrate reverses wasting syndrome [cachexia]. Whey protein concentrate is still very inexpensive, easy to digest and assimilate, easy to mix with water, juice, milk, or added to muffins, pancakes, waffles.
Hair analysis & nbsp;IS valid for chronic exposure, not acute exposure as you stated. Hair analysis has decades of scientific validation, not to be dismissed by the stroke of a key pad.
I have hundreds of pre- and post- oral chelation hair analysis tests for children with and without autism and adults, in other words, DOCUMENTATION. These test results are available to anyone upon request. Again, SCIENCE is why I have chosen to recommend Extreme Health US oral chelation:
http://www.geociti\ es.com/mikemenkes/oralchelation.html
We are ALL exposed to heavy metals. You & nbsp; may all consider being tested for highs and lows of 22 minerals, since deficiencies cause their own problems. I am asking for $40/hair analysis.
As far as acidophilus-type products, I recommend a FOS PRE-biotic, as Kirkman Labs has on their site. FOS products feed the existing friendly microflora. Once the microflora are supported, an individual will produce & nbsp;his/her own B-vitamins, including folate and B-12, and serotonin [from Vit B 6 conversion], and produce their own melatonin from serotonin.
Respectfully,
Mike Menkes, LMT
& nbsp; AndyCutler@... wrote:

& gt; & lt;P & gt; The most complete amino acid profiles for the
& gt; least amount of $$ is lactose-free whey protein
& gt; concentrate. Guest guest
Andy: It is a good thing that PRACTITIONERS exist. Your THEORY of thiol groups and autism is low in correlation. Only a person quoting sites, instead of dealing with thousand of patients, will conclude that mercury causes thiol-group sensitivity. For your edification, and the hundreds of people who have been misled by your scholarly mis-associations, the actual thiol-group culprit is NOT mercury, but, low liver function. Enhance LIVER function and be amazed what even an autistic child's body can do. Also, it seems to me that a big part of the autistic picture is being ignored. The pre-natal emotional interplay between the future parents have a higher correlation of pre-autistic disposition than your thiol culprit. As far as my licensing is concerned, it is people like you who come off as being an expert in the field. I have seen otherwise. Merriam-Webster says that proteins consist of carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, and usually sulfur. You split more hairs than a hair analysis. If children and/or adults do not get a full spectrum of amino acids, as found in whey protein concentrate, their over-all health picture will spiral down. Guest guest
I can't believe what I'm reading! We are in the year 2001, right? How insensitive and ignorant you must be. Prenatal tension causing autism? There was no verbal fighting with my spouse, or anyone else for that matter, while I was pregnant or afterwards, but to defend myself from such a stupid statement is giving the statement too much credit. I am under-educated and do not know what an LMT is ... licensed medical technician is my best guess and even at that I do not know what an LMT does. Now you have broached one of my areas of expertise. I've been studying people who have outlandish theories such as " unresolved childhood insecurities " and some have even claimed those come from past life experiences. As far as verbal fighting between my former husband and myself previous to the birth, there was absolutely zero of that and I have never suffered from any insecurities, but do admit he had many, which is why he was attracted to a person of my abilities. He used to tell people " Oh, if only I could be her for just five minutes to see what it must feel like. " While it is true that his admiration for my abilities grew towards losing his masculinity since he could not lead his household effectively or manage to study anything helpful to my daughter in order to heal her to the extent that I have spiritually, my story might offer some new insight since you are rather holistically (perhaps) inclined. I am an expert at Sabian Astrology, The Mandala and The I'Ching as it relates to astrological progression of the events of superior advancements and was born at Zero degrees Libra. My starchart says I shall marry a lesser being in order to bear an instrument that shall thrust me towards my dharma and that I shall fulfill my destiny by entering a world wherein I represent and provide protection for an epidemic of children who cannot speak or in any manner defend themselves. It says I shall divorce that man to marry a sage and shall partner with him in order to change history in the world where this epidemic exists. I have found three so far who are good candidates. To find them I advertised over the Internet for men who were compatible to my wishes. It has been very easy for me. I did not know all of this was predestined by astrological designations until after it began to become true. Now, whereas astrology itself is bunk because it only takes one singular act to undo everything God intends shall happen and He then has to start all over, Sabian Symbols came about with a visionary and two prophets dealing as sages in astrological mathematicity. They do not forecast (these symbols) as future, but merely lay dharma (God's Plan) before you and they have never been recognized as faulty in any way. My daughter is considered to be the " fine dart " that offers me a route towards perfection and attainment of my goals for the many afflicted just like her and I have been asked by the NIH to gather what I consider to be all experts within the world of healing autism. It will hopefully net my foundation a grant and will be one of the first times that allopathic as well as natural medicinal practices shall be joined with conventional medicine and it will be the first time that America shall recognize parents who have cured their autistic children as the experts they must be to have cured their children. Only parents have cured their children since it takes more than a singular therapy or physician or even a method of healing. I intend that when I am through Medicaid shall disburse even the EASe CD to combat hypersensitive hearing in autism and doctors shall be forced by the American Pediatric Association, to comply with dispensing those prescriptive needs. The children of autism own their disability and it is thievery for the government, through the Social Security Administration laws, to say that if the parent makes a certain amount of money, that child does not deserve an SSI disability payment close to the $400 per month his/her parents need for the supplements it takes to heal many aspects of autism and it is thievery to disallow those children as individuals under law to get Medicaid benefits. It is unfortunate, however, that Medicaid does not allow for the dispensing of Perfect B (sublingual B vitamins) while even Walgreens has it contained in their pharmacies now,. so someone IS dispensing at least that via doctor's prescriptions. So many things need to be changed and somehow fate has placed these things within my grasp. Never would my spiritual life have been so utterly socially redeeming and worthwhile had it not been that I was given the gift of an autistic child and as a reward of a kind, my daughter's likeness was painted by an artist who never saw her but somehow painted her with stars of lights encircling her fingers and toes. My daughter used to whirl her fingers and toes and there is no way he could have known this. For years I taught on The Minc List that my daughter was " the epitome of joy and mirth " and one day a subscriber told me to run to a bookstore to peek into Mr. Froud's book, " Good Faeries, Bad Faeries. " There was my daughter, named Lacey (Irish for cheerful) called " The Faery of Pure Joy. " Across from her portrait, for every S and T placed together, The Sign of Omega sits atop and joins them. The artist has no idea why he chose to do this but I have long complained that America has no reverence and the people are too lazy to even spell out the entire word, SAINT. I write a spiritual column and own an Internet church comprised of people of all faiths from ten major countries and I have long claimed that the children of autism shall come in the multitudes directly from Heaven itself to teach everyone that the lack of cognizant abilities in this country is staggering. Boys wearing black nail polish have a mental disorder of some kind and I think even girls who wear lime green nail polish have some severe compromises keeping them from feminine artistry. And their parents sit like drones in front of televisions all day while the world of autism proudly studies medicinal practices and learns what it takes to heal body, mind and spirit. They own children who by mystical force refuse to look at them and those children speak symbolically of the people who walk in neighborhoods and malls and stare at their feet rather than extend the life of spiritual uplifting towards each other and smile to invoke any form of friendship. This kills the Christian spirit of friendship and togetherness. I see these children move symbolically by a spiritual force science will never be able to explain. What poison may I offer to force you to wave your arms all day like the children of Angelman's syndrome or rock back and forth to warn of leaded waters and other rocks in the food and water supply? By magic they all love French fries and I think all mothers of autistic children had a lack of choline while building their brains, but I am an expert at symbology and said to be a Seer. I say these children come by special design and were it not so, my starchart would not say so without room for any question and I would not have been graced in the multitude of manners that I have been. Many times my words bounce back at me. One day I will write I am a spitfire of a woman (the way I feel after reading your post) and then a woman named Fox to my Minc writes " Libran eyes spit fire " only one day after I wrote those very words. Another day I will tell everyone I know " that is perfection! " and she will write " Now you know what perfection is. " Perhaps you are not familiar with the concept of " pennies from Heaven, " but some do receive orders from Heaven and made it a commandment to make Heaven on Earth a reality and it is through the world of these children I call " cherubs " that these things are being performed on a grander scale than you can even imagine. These children are not as a result of parental arguments while the children were telepaths in the womb and are by special design or they would not all u se these mysterious spiritual movements that they do, take on the same fascinations that they do, speak in the language that not many comprehend .... what poison might I give you to adore ceiling fans or try to destroy VCRs? We are fans of Heaven and it is through the world of parents of autistic children and those cherubs themselves that other people are later going to learn how to achieve a higher ability for mental acuity. We demand sages from this country and we are far from it as it currently stands, but there are people such as Mr. Bernard Windham and Mr. Cutler who have continued through self-studies and serve the many each day with their participation in this arena of endeavor. And truths continue to be exposed. Currently autopsies show 30 year olds have white plaque accumulating wthin their brains - the same white plaque found in victims of Alzheimers ... it appears to me that white plaque somehow removes the ability for seemingly normal people to love and respect each other - just as victims of Alzheimers' forget they love their family. However, we do NOT forget we love our own family and that family has become the fantastic world of autism. These parents willingly martyr themselves and they have long learned they need to take the world of healing in their own hands and by all they do, each of us steps forward and not really ever backward since we continue to learn and to share with open hands and not closed fists. Let there be no misunderstanding. These children are specialists in what they can achieve as a growing epidemic. You may not realize this but the Name of Jesus is Hebrew and is not pronounced by anyone in this country in its proper form! So how cognizant are even the Christians when they do not know it is pronounced " Ya-Shua " ? We worry for the souls of the majority so there are children waving their arms like angels. There are children rocking and waving their arms. There are children who will play a video over and over and stop it just as an eagle tries to fly. These are mystical, magical children by Higher Order so do not try to say they are as a result of their parents arguing while they were in the womb. Tell me what those parents could have said that causes them to do the things they can do that you would never have the patience for. They are here to teach healing - all that is healing. They are of the Spirit, so they do not look in their own parents' eyes that those parents will know beyond question that the bread must be removed. And all the while, literally millions upon millions of Christians have been actively praying for their daily bread. So if you think this is not a push towards recognition of spiritual forces at work, know now I can prove this beyond the shadow of a doubt. Until all that is healing has been established and all charlatans out of the business, all poisons removed, all remedies announced, until the FDA decides to evaluate all supplements, the world of autism rocks like none other. It is, as I have long written, a rock and roll (referring to wheat) sort of endeavor and we have high aspirations. Minc

Guest guest
Mark, What balanced amino acids complex do you suggest? Should amino acids, minerals, vitamins be given separately and at different times? During school season, we open all pills and capsules, mix with liquid supplements, shake it up in a jar, pour into large jigger, gulp, then a chaser; drinks 16 oz. drink on the way to school. Is there a better or healthier way to give supplements? We use mostly Kirkmans products. We use Andy and Amy's original protocol for chelating since late summer 00 with no problems. Thank you. Guest guest
Mike, I seem to recall references to the thiol interference of mercury in a several of the well-known books on mercury poisoning from dental fillings including " It's all in your Head " by Hal Huggins, DDS, and a couple of the Ziff books among others. I don't have them with me since I'm out of town, so I can't quote them or cite pages today. Perhaps you can enlighten the group on the therapies/approaches you feel have benefitted or have the potential to benefit individuals w/ autism or mercury poisoning. I'm catching up on mail, so perhaps you've already done so and I just haven't gotten to it yet.
