rough night

Good Morning everyone,

Sleep last night was pretty much impossible. I had so much leg pain I

was in tears most of the night. My left leg from the hip down to the

knee were screaming at me and my left hip was acting up big time. I

wish I could describe how it feels better. It feels like the thigh

muscle is too short and whenever I try to stretch my leg out straight, I

can feel the muscle pulling on my hip and back. I literally see stars.

I used to think that seeing stars was only in the cartoons... hahaha..

wrong.

I used my massager on one particular point that I found (through trial

and error) that seems to ease the pain in another part of the thigh

muscle. I'm pretty sure it's close to my hip or possibly even connected

to the hip. The only thing x-rays have found on my hip is a bone spur.

I don't know if I'm right or wrong here, but I think the bone or joint

pain (for me) is a constant ache in the joint. Kind've feels like a

needle shooting into the bone. But when the fibro acts up... it seems

to be painful when I move. If I sit or lie real still, the pain seems

to subside, but the joint pain is constant... whether I move or not...

but of course it hurts more if I move.

I hope I'm making some kind of sense, as it doesn't make a lot of sense

to me either... lol. I should have gotten up last night and spent more

time on the computer and here in this group instead of moaning and

groaning all night and trying to find a sleeping position that didn't

fill me with such horrid pain. But it would have been useless to get up

as we had a major thunderstorm and we lost power in the house. I spend

most of the morning rebooting all the computers, restarting the server,

making sure no data was lost, etc. Thank God for our little UPS

(universal power supply) that kept our main e-mail and file server up

and running. Oh how I love the reliable world of Linux as opposed to

Windows.. hehehehe.

Anyway, I'm rambling yet again. What was I talking about? Oh yeah...

PAIN. I've taken one flexoril, and 3 tablets of Tylenol #3, so I'm

starting to feel like I'm all drugged up and if I don't make any

sense... sowwie... I'm afraid to shower right now, in case I drown

myself.. lol.. But I took all the meds now, so that I can be safe to

drive to my acupuncturist in about 2 hours.

There have been sooo many e-mail that I want to respond to so I better

get busy with that.
