Guest guest Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Hi , Sorry to hear about your problem and fervently hope that Maureen is soon well and back with you again. As a possible matter of interest I cured my bronchial problem with a few drops of myrrh. Larry Quote
Guest guest Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 , I do hope things clear up quickly for Maureen, and that things get back to normal very soon. I trust you are eating properly, and not staying up too late. Best, . Hullo all - how are you? Well today is different. I'm on my own at night. Maureen has developed a chest infection that needs intravenous antibitotics and this needs to administered in hospital. Her consultant is in the Leeds Infirmary in the centre of Leeds. Just wondering how you all are feeling? Perhaps now is good time to suporting each others well being etc. Best wishes to you all Quote
Guest guest Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 , Hope things are going well for you and Maureen. Sometimes the problems of someone you love are worse than they would be if you were experiencing them My brother has been having medical problems for months and they recently took two biopsies, one from his bone marrow and one from his adenoids. They are looking for lymphoma. Late yesterday they came back and the pathologist did not see any cancer but they have sent the samples on to other pathologists for a second opinion. I am cautiously optimistic. Today I am helping to cater a wedding.I am sure that will left my spirits too. Hope you have things that will help to alleviate your worry also. When you see your wife give her a big hug and tell her that I am sending my best wishes for a speedy recovery. Kathy Hullo all - how are you? Well today is different. I'm on my own at night. Guest guest Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 No just the reception today. It will be on the water overlooking the lower Potomac River. Not too hot today so it should be fun. Thank you. Gotta go. Guest guest Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Thanks Pam and Terry. Maureen has a side room and she has customised it with her Digital radio playing Classic FM and we play Scrabble at visiting time. Hopefully we are nipping the infection in the bud. At the moment they are retesting to make sure they treat the right bug. Best wishes Re: Hullo all - how are you? It is surprising how strange it feels when you are so used to having someone to warm your feet on, but hopefully Maureen will make a speedy recovery so it won't be for long. very best wishes Pam and Terry Quote

Guest guest Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 Hi , I suffered from bronchitis for nearly 60 years, two or three times a year lasting up to two months at a time. Then I was lucky enough to find out about "Tincture of MYRRH". Just five drops in a small amount of squash up to a maximum of three times a day stops the cough in five to ten minutes. I have used it about six times in the last two years and only once have I needed to take three doses in a day and the last time I took a dose was about seven or eight months ago. Hope that this is some help to you. Larry Quote

Guest guest Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 Hi Rich, Re Tincture of MYRRH The blend that I found was made by a firm called :- Culpeper Ltd Covent Garden London WC2E 8RB We have a branch in York. The full name for it is "Commiphora mol-mol", the ingredients being Organic sugarcane alcohol, aqua and commiphora mol-mol. Herb to liquid ratio 1:5, Alcohol 90% v/v. Directions on the bottle indicate 15 drops (0.75ml) two to three times a day but I have never used more than 5 drops and only once in two years have I needed three doses in a day and again only once have I needed more than one day to cure an attack which used to last up to three months. Hope that you have as much success with it as I have had. Larry Quote
