Guest guest
, You are not alone gal. This issue in general was an issue for me immediately when I was hit with my 1st attack. But since then (now almost 3 years later), my " drive " /? or whatever you want to call it has been greatly affected. Both of my docs (general doc and neuro) both say it is attributed to the MS and possibly the meds (one, the other or both). And I like you am only in my early 30's (I am currently 33; was 30 when MS entered my life). And I agree with you that this is WAY too young to be experiencing sexual problems...but everyone's body reacts differently with differnet situations. Hang in there, and also know that both of my docs are male (which didn't make it easier to talk to them about this issue; especially since they too are younger and handsome---lol!!!). BUT, they can not treat me or care for me properly unless I am honest with them about my health situation. Anyway, if you need anything else, feel free to email me personally...jnkshaw@... make sure you put MS GROUP on the subject line (I have screening on my email; that way I don't delete your email). Guest guest
HI CHRISTINE, I DID TALK TO MY DR AND HE SUGGESTED THAT FOR ME AS I AM VERY DRY NOW TO USE REPLENS ON A REGULAR BASIS = THE BOX SAYS EVERY THREE DAYS SO THATS ABOUT ONE BOX A MONTH = AND TO USE ASTROGLIDE DURING INTERCOURSE. IT IS NOT AS BIG A PROBLEM FOR ME AS I AM OLDER AND MY HUSBAND IS IN CONSTANT PAIN SO HIS DISIRE HAS BEEN VERY MUCH REDUCED . BUT THE REPLENS DOES MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AND MAYBE A LITTLE YOUNGER. AS LIKE INSTEAD OF A DRIED UP OL WOMAN. BUT CHECK ON LINE AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT AND CHECK WITH YOUR GP OR NEURO AND THEY MAY HAVE SOME BETTER IDEAS. FRIENDSHIP IS TRULY A RARE JEWEL TO BE TREASURED FOREVERMAKE EACH DAY A DAY TO REMEMBERLOVE AND HAPPINESS; BUTTERFLIES AND FLOWERSLYNN Ladies Only Topic/Sorry Guys You REALLY DON'T WANT TO READ THIS!!!! Ladies, I am curious if any of you have heard of a natural chemical that our bodies produce called Progesterone?? Believe it or not, I have never heard of it until today. I ask this because I have been experience some rather embarrassing issues as far as my libido goes, I don't have one anymore. My husband thinks its MS causing it, I think it may be all these drugs I take on a daily basis that has caused it. I wonder if anyone has (if your not afraid or to embarrassed to share) gone through this too?? If so, what did you do? I am only 34, I feel like I am way to young for this kind of issue to be happening to me, you know?? Part of me wants to talk with my doctor, but that in itself scares me. Its a small town and I go to church with her, it would be just as embarrassing for me as would be for a guy, you know?? So...As this is a rather delicate issue, for any and all replies just reply to me personally...OK??? This way no one get embarrassed. I would really appreciate some input if no else has a problem sharing with me!
