Guest guest
Dizziness can be a hormonal signal, one of the first signs I had of perimenopause was dizzy spells. Karima Hi all, I have been dizzy since November 2006 and have had two episodes of vertigo. I have had tons of blood work done, an MRI, and have seen many specialists. No one can tell me why I am dizzy. I really think it is hormonal. Has anyone experienced dizziness? In my fourth month on the WP, the dizziness is worse. I had a hysterectomy in January 2007. While in the hospital, I was not dizzy at all. I cannot figure out what made the difference. Was it the fact that I suddenly had no hormones or was I dehydrated and the IV therapy helped? Wish I knew! Thanks, Theresa
Guest guest
I had severe dizziness and vertigo a couple of years ago, when I suspect I had just begun the end of peri and beginning of meno. It was terrible. I had MRI, whole nine yards, was given meds to help that just made me tired, and then it gradually just went away. Also was 'diagnosed' by an ENT with 'ocular migraine syndrome', which he said was the cause of the dizziness. Nope. It gradually left on its own. Here is hoping yours will too, and sooner rather than later. GaelDelicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters. Watch the video on AOL Living. Guest guest
I had same experience 3 years ago. In hindsight,I am sure it was beginnig of peri as I ovulated really late that month on 19th day and my side unbelievably hurt and then I got this weird vertigo for a couple weeks, had to sleep propped up, my boobs really really hurt, and I had major constipation-all these symptoms are peri type symptoms. No dr. helped me figure it out either-went to gyno, had colonoscopy, and regular MD. Good grief! > > I had severe dizziness and vertigo a couple of years ago, when I suspect I > had just begun the end of peri and beginning of meno. It was terrible. Guest guest
Yes, I'm in my 4th month on Wiley. Overall, I feel better. I cut back on the Progesterone last week by 4 lines, and did not have as many waves of dizziness. Surgical menopause brought on so many symptoms, it is hard to know what is going on. I will do the exercises at home. Your are right, it can't hurt. Theresa Re: Dizziness and Vertigo Hi Theresa, Since the exercises helped, maybe you should just continue them at home? Maybe some of the little rocks inside your inner ear are still floating around causing intermittent issues? If the little rocks are not the issue, the exercises will cause not harm, right? When I had vertigo, I did the exercises at home with good results. Although I did not have vertigo for a long period of time like you are dealing with. Maybe the WP is making things worse though. I have good luck dosing to symptoms with my hormones except for progesterone which I use just enough to shed a lining occasionally. I take just enough estradiol and testosterone to make my low hormone symptoms go away and no more. Are you on your 4th month of Wiley now? Guest guest
Thank you, Gael! I've been from doctor to doctor since peri started for me eight years ago. Everyone of them told me that there was nothing wrong. For a healthy person, I sure have felt like hell! All the guessing that doctors seem to do is fruatrating. It is the nature of medicine, I suppose. Guest guest
I think you should look at the WP as a possible source of your difficulties. Have you read others' experiences with it? Have you read this website? http://rhythmicliving.org/rhythmicliving/home.html Val From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ] On Behalf Of ayalatheresa@... Yes, I'm in my 4th month on Wiley.
