Guest guest
I hope that will be the solution for you. I keep my needle at a 6. My insulin needle just barely breaks the skin that is how short it is. I think the Copaxone should work the same way ok. Bill Talked to SS and neuro's assistant I posted about this earlier but got that "page cannot be displayed" page after I hit send so if this goes through twice I apologize. My neuro suggested that I stop using the Copaxone for 3-5 days & talk to a nurse at Shared Solutions & get suggestions about doing the injections. I talked to a nurse and she made some good suggestions. The main thing that I believe will make a difference is adjusting the needle depth on the auto-injector. She said it sounds like I need to be at 4 with some injections and 5-6 with others. The nurse who came to my home had me at 6 with all injection sites. We'll see what happens. She also said that it's not likely, but possible, that we could have hit a nerve when we did the injection in my arm & that could have caused the pain in my neck and face.Hope everyone is having a good evening. :-)

Guest guest
I have to shamefully admit that I forgot to do the injection last night. There's just so much going on right now, so much on my mind. The injections are the last thing on my mind right now. I wish they'd told me to start them back after Christmas, lol. I shouldn't forget it tonight. I have it on the bedside table ready to go & I can't miss it when I go to set the clock. Guest guest
I remembered last night. Proud of myself for that, lol! I am not a happy girl though. It was soooo painful! We followed the advice of the nurse from Shared Solutions, did everything we were suppose to, but it still hurt like heck. Not the kind of pain you can just ignore, tell yourself it's not so bad. The pain is deep and shooting. I don't feel anything for a few minutes & I'll think it's finally over, then bam, it hits me again, feels like my skin is being pinched and a bone has been bruised deep under the skin. That's the best way I can describe it. I took Tylenol PM at 8:00, did the shot at 8:30 & was still in pain when I finally fell asleep about 10:00. Still a little sore today, but not too bad. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to put myself through it again tonight. I'm trying to talk myself into it, keep telling myself to try adjusting the needle depth again. We'll see. I just might " forget " to do it tonight, LOL! Smiles, > And how did that go? LOL > > Hugs, > Challis > >
Guest guest
LOL . Perhaps switching needles would help? (If you already have, forgive me for not remembering? <gg>).
