pardon me if this has already come up, but one of my coworkers was

telling me about the anti-inflamatory benefits of pineapple extract

BROMELAIN

i searched the internet and have found that everyone seems to spell it

differently, but i did find quite a few articles supporting it.

i ordered some (i think, i had a few problems) and i'm going to give

it a try. will let you all know how well it works.

I can't say I have the same enthusiasm for concentrated products. It

appears all to frequent that some one got sick from to much of one

thing or another. such as to much vitamin a, too much sugar, too much

nicotine, too much etcetera

likely moderation is the best policy. not to much not to little

I am not all that quick witted, Laurie, I spotted your post a while ago

and did not think anything about taking pineaple extract. until i saw

the post a second time.

best regards Bill

finding the information on this was really interesting. there is a

lot of information on various ND newsletters, but not much on the

internet. the inconsistenacy of the name spelling, further causes

problems. i did read a real article on a real doctor that did

research that found it was a very effective antiinflamatory and had no

noticeable side effects. they are working on some new studies with

more rigorous testing, i hope to be hearing something soon.

i have been taking the extract in powdered form for a week now and

have noticed an improvement in my tinnitus. i have no idea why or if

the extract had anything to do with it, or if it was a coincidence.

but it is interesting.

so i'm continuing to take it and am going to see what happens, i'm

taking the glucosamine & chondroiting with it as well. I'm just

hoping for some improvement in my inflamation and hopefully a little

less aches & pains after exercising.

i was good with the my food choices for the past week until today,

will do my best to be better tomorrow.

my father in law cooked an awesome turkey and i've been enjoying some

lovely turkey sandwhiches for dinner this week, light & healthy.

i'm not too excited about the predicted snow tomorrow, but oh well, i

just hope it's not slippery on my walk and i'll get out the winter

coat that i didnt think i'd need again this spring and it will be fine.
