Guest guest Posted May 11, 2001 Report Share Posted May 11, 2001 , My daughter had a very high hair tin reading and after 15 weeks of chelation on step 1 under Dr. Amy, her urine toxic elements showed 1100 for tin (reference range 0-6)! Per Dr. Amy, this was the highest level she had seen, although it is becoming frequent with the girls in her practice. Sources of tin: stannous flouride (in toothpaste), canned pineapple (if I'm remembering correctly. Could also be in the water (we had our water tested and no tin was present). So, it's been a mystery for us as well.
