What a week

I have apparently missed quite a bit, my homework today will be playing catch up. My four year old, Charity, ended up having minor corrective surgery Tuesday. A stent was inserted into her urethra to stretch and widen a stricture that was obstructing the flow of urine and making her ill, or as she said, "my pee pee tube isn't working right" She was discharged that evening and is doing well. Her color is vastly improved. Its strange that I didn't notice until pictures taken yesterday just how sick she did look. My prayer is that the worst is over now and we can face the road of recovery. She will go about every two weeks to have a new stent put in until it opens enough to function as normally as possible. Her kidneys were not affected however and she will rebound quickly I think.

I hate to say it, but I think the stress of things made me sick. I've had a fever since Monday nite, with a sore throat and chills. I don't care about me right now though, as long as my girlies are okay. Their smiles are the best medicine anyway.

Thats it for now on my end. Time to start reading these posts
