Jerry Orbach dies from prostate cancer

As our year 2004 comes to a close, here is hoping that 2005 will see the end

of notices of deaths from prostate cancer. As we discuss new treatments and

ww, lets not yet forget that for many, prostate cancer is a deadly disease.

" Law & Order " star Jerry Orbach has died of prostate cancer at 69, a

representative of the show said Wednesday. Orbach died Tuesday night in

Manhattan

after several weeks of treatment.
