Guest guest
Hi I found acidophilus (1 billion) daily very helpful along with Neem capsules. If obesity is a problem as well, then Coleus forte from mediherb will do the job. Other things: drinking lots of water. To: ukherbal-list@...: herbalist@...: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 16:26:23 +0000Subject: chronic constipation Dear AllI have two new patients next week, both presenting with chronic constipation. One has needed laxatives daily for four years to effect a bowel movement.Among other things I'm wondering about castor oil packs. Should I wait till the bowel is moving more easily so as not to unleash an extra load on the bowels? I was thinking of starting with hot packs. All advice welcome.Katharine _________________________________________________________________ Who's friends with who and co-starred in what? http://www.searchgamesbox.com/celebrityseparation.shtml
Guest guest
Hi Katharine I have found Hydrastis canadensis very helpful for people whose bowels have become habituated to laxatives. Guest guest
Hi, I've found Black root (Leptandra virginicus) very useful for chronic constipation, especially where there has been long term laxative use. Depending on the rest of the picture, I use it with Berberis vul./Glyc. glabra/Rumex/Tarax, etc. gursewa.  Dear All I have two new patients next week, both presenting with chronic constipation. Should I wait till the bowel is moving more easily so as not to unleash an extra load on the bowels? I was thinking of starting with hot packs. All advice welcome. Guest guest
Hi Sally, Each tablet contains: Coleus forskohlii extract equivalent to dry root standardised to contain forskolin 18.7 mg 3.74 g gursewa. Thanks I meant also does it have other herbs or is it just Coleus? Sally O > Hi Sally > > It comes in tablet form.
