Guest guest
I don't know the answer to your first question, I am only counting tae bo videos, and it would be a miracle if I did more than one in a day. for myself, it is the consistent pattern of exercise that I am trying to establish, so I think I would only count each day that I worked out. Your son should be quite proud, tae bo is amazing with the results it can produce. Again, I wish I could get my 13 year old involved, but he has no interest, in fact and aversion to joining me. Oh well. Like for example, today I did a Firm workout and also a Pilates workout. Does that count as two or only one?I am so excited about my son. Ya'll know he is only 13 and doing this challenge. He has been doing the Taebo Bootcamp series. When he started this two weeks ago he could only do 3 chin ups. Tonight when we were outside he decided to try the chin ups and see if he could do more than 3. Well, he did 10. He was so excited and happy. He couldn't believe in only two weeks he had that much improvement. I wish I would of taken his measurements two weeks ago but I did write them down on Friday so we could see the benefits of Taebo for his muscles. He is not overweight and never has been. Actually he has always been very small for his age. He was only in the 10th percentile on the growth charts until he was about 10 because he was always so sick with asthma and pneomonia. He is so much better now. Everyone keep up the great work,Robin As Deb has said: "Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step.""This isn't about weight loss, it's about enlightenment" -
Guest guest
Hey Robin, I think it applies to workouts but you can count it however you see fit is what I would do. For instance, if I do a full tae bo workout plus a 17 min pilates vid, that is one workout to me. If I by chance do two full tae bo workouts in one day then that is two workouts towards the challenge. A full workout to me is at least 25-30 minutes long. According to the way I operate I have not gotten in a full workout unless it is 25-30 min long. I most certainly will count two 45-55 min long workouts in one day as two separate workouts for this challenge. But like Delana, the chances of that happening at this point in my life are pretty low. As far as your son, tell him that we are so proud of him! I have been meaning to tell you I am excited to hear that you guys are homeschoolers, as I am starting my hs journey with my near 5 year old with the upcoming school year. I am planning on buying him Tae Bo Kicks to use as our PE on some days. His main structured PE activity is karate. Keep up the great work! HI Delana, I have been exercising for a year now and he wouldn't exericise with me before now. Maybe if you just stay committed he will join you one day. My son does see that I am getting results and he is at the age now that he wants to have muscles and look good. Robin

HI , Welcome to the Taebo group. It is always good to know other homeschoolers. How old is your son?
