Hi Chaz,

If you mean a TENS unit, yes I have. It helped me temporalily, but not for

long term pain. It feels good when your using it though. :)

Dix>>> Is a neurostimulator the same thing as a TENS unit, or does it

differ, and if so, how? >>>

Dixie,

No not exactly as the stimulator is totally implanted inside you. I have one

and I have leads on my spine at the T8-9 level and the leads go to a battery

that is implanted in my upper butt and that controls the stimulation I get

and where it goes. I also have a hand held device that I can turn the stim

on or off with, change where the stim goes, and how high or low I want the

stimulation to be. It works so well for my leg pain but not my back pain

and that is why I'm getting a pump.

The tens units works on the same theory...the pain gate, in that it blocks

the pain signal from getting to your brain so you feel the stimulation

instead of the pain. Believe me...I still know I have pain in my legs but

it has helped so much!

Hope that answers your questions....it not ask some more.
