Thankyou Zahavi - I will look into your suggestions, though on

initial googling of Dr Simoncini I only seem to be coming up with

iodine for cancer treatment.

Psoriasis

The treatment to choose for psoriasis is iodine solution at seven

per cent,

as it is capable of precipitating the proteins of the body of the

fungus and

destroying them completely in a short time. If the spots are fairly

small,

they must be painted with the solution 10-20-30 times twice a day

for five days

and then once for another ten days so that they become very dark.

When the eschar is formed and it is higher than the epidermic plane,

it is necessary to continue to paint underand above it, even if at

first

this causes a sharp pain.

Yes i have psoriatic arthritis.. He treats me for psoriatic arthritis as i

started with the psoriasis. I also have crps which is complex regional pain

syndrome. The ra factors were negative. But the signs of psoriasis just

strated a year ago, followed from a stress fracture. They had a hard time

figuring it all out it seems to go together. My crp was 6.8 when i started

with

the methotrexate. I didn't have the classis psoriasis i had it on my legs and

back and elbows .. Nothing worked no creams, steroids nothing till the

methotrexate. Now it is 90 percent gone. I am 43 and just got psoriais..

Kami and group;

Yes I suffer from psorisis on my feet and my hands. It started a

couple years ago as a fungal infections. It finally cleared up with

precription creams. Now I have just psorisis on it now. My palms are

cleared up. I guess I got to stop going barefoot to clear it up my

the bottom of my feet.

Yes true. My rheumy believe that since both treatments are most similar he

diagnosed me with the psoriatic as the presentation of the psoriasis at my

age 43 then the joint pain followed.

Thanks! I have an appointment with a dermatologist on the 29th but when I was at

my family doctor, he told me it was psoriasis. All of a sudden I am having

tremendous pain in my ankles, elbows, and wrists..... I went off MTX this week

so I am pretty sure that is why but.... I am so FRUSTRATED....

I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Some pretty

drastic meds have been recommended to me. I’ve been on ldn for about 10

weeks.

There is very significant improvement in my skin, and even

more in my joints. I still have ups and downs, especially in cold or rainy

weather.

There is no doubt that the improvement is dramatic. I’m

encouraged to hear that I might feel even better in a few more months.

Great News Carole, I have psoriasis also and LDN has helped. It took a lot longer than your though. So I think that is a good sign that you will do very well with LDN.

It took about six months for my psoriasis to start clearing up. I

suspect that at my age, 72, everything takes longer to get better, and

I don't really expect a full recovery. The arthritis is not responding

as well as the rash.

Last week I had a lapse in judgement, and ate some wheat bread. The

psoriasis on my elbows has flared up again, after being totally gone.

Is it possible that wheat, or other allergens, can trigger a flare?

Has anyone else had this experience? I thought my wheat allergy

reaction was just respiratory.

dr simoncini says that psoriasis is a fungus and treat it with

iodine 7%.if you go to the site of doug kaufman then you can see

that all grains cause candida (fungus).

http://www.knowthecause.com/

if you do his diet and use the antifungal products like olive leaf

extract, oragano caprilic acids, etc you might get rid of the

psoriasis and artritis.

here is a dutch article about psoriasis that recomend also

transdermal magnesium chloride

Hi Konnie,

Do you think you might have a gluten sensitivity ?? ...or do you know

that you specifically have a 'wheat allergy' ??

I think an allergy can manifest its symptoms ~wherever. ie; as a

rash, as asthma / breathing issues.

It's good to hear that the LDN is helping your skin rash...very

encouraging to for a lot of folks.

Konnie: I’m 68. I did get some improvement quickly,

but now, after almost three months it’s

considerable—especially the joints. I still get flare

ups that I think are weather related—so I

don’t know about the food allergy possibility. Good

Luck. Carol

Konnie, for Arthritis, I would definitely check out Cyndi's video clip of Dr. Berkson (part #3). He has had amazing results with auto-immune arthritis. He uses ALA in an IV to start, LDN and diet. It sounds like a definite winner.

Don't worry about your age Konnie, no matter what your age you should expect great health, and with your determination and big heart I am sure you will get that.

Kindest of regards

An excellent observation Zahavi, as I have learned that even though LDN has gotten things much more in control, I still have a small flare of it show up on the back of my head when I drink too much alcohol or eat chocolate (why is the world so cruel, I wish it were spinach and liver that set this off instead).

So what you say makes good sense in regards to being a fungus and certain things feeding it and fueling it on. I will look at the sites you sent and see what I should be doing.

Carol and Aletha,

Thank you both for your encouraging words. I will look into diet; I'm

probably eating too much chocolate :-)

If I could go to Las Cruces, if I could afford Dr. Berkson's

treatment, I'd love to do that. I feel so much better whenever I'm in

New Mexico. I moved from there to Washington state about five years

ago, and am finding this cold damp climate to be very bad for my

health. I would not advise anyone living in the southwest with

fibromyalgia or any kind of arthritis to give it up for the northwest!

I do think climate makes a difference.

But, no matter what, I'm sticking with LDN, because it has done so

much for my fibrofog, fatigue and dermatitis. It is worth it, and I

never want to be without it.

Jann and Zahavi,

Thanks for your suggestions.

I may very well have a glutin sensitivity, and shall take a serious

look at this issue. I did develop asthma after I moved to the

northwest. There is mold everywhere. But I've not had to use my

inhalers since starting LDN. I'm thinking about getting a Himalayan

salt inhaler anyway, just for good respiratory health.

I have had Psoriatic Arthritis since Dec 2007 and had scalp Psoriasis develop

after the arthritis developed. The skin part is not real problematic.I have been

on Minocycline antibiotic since June 2008 which controls my pain but does not

help the skin part. I started LDN on Feb 24 to see if it would allow me to

reduce my Minocycline level and improve my skin Psoriasis and fingernails and

toenails. I do seem to have a positive response to my arthritis, but no opinion

yet on the skin part.

Hi Isabelle,

I take 4.5mg of LDN and my scalp psoriasis is much improved. I do notice however that it comes back a little if I start eating chocolate, more than a couple glasses of wine or a lot of sugar.

I suffered with this condition for over 20+ years and it feels great not to worry or have it be such a big part of my life anymore.

It took about 2.5 months for me to see any changes.

All my best, Aletha

Hi all

I haven't posted in a long time, but here I am.

Went to my Rheumy this past week, and I'm happy to report that my RA is in

remission for now. Still have some pain, but at least I'm functioning and

sleeping well.

The question I have is: Has anyone else developed Psoriasis along with

their RA ?

My elbows had gotten very rough, and itchy over the past few weeks. My

rheumy looked at them, and told them I also now have psoriasis. Common in

many folks with RA ?

If so, does anyone out there use something that works for them?

Thanks
