Guest guest
Ann, Is this you, the one that I talked to about the triathlons? Congratulations! I just had a baby almost 8 months ago. I was fine during the pregnancy, except very tired (but maybe because I had 3 other small children). I am still breastfeeding, and am still mostly fine (knocking on wood as I type this!). My kids have all been sick the past week or so, and my husband has been out of town, and I noticed that with all the stress and lack of sleep, I have been tripping up the stairs quite a bit and feel very clumsy today. But, other than that I am fine. Hopefully you will be as lucky as me! Are you on any of the MS drugs? I know they don't know for sure but I think they suggest you not be on them while pregnant or breastfeeding. Ok, no suggestions or advice, I just wanted to say congratulations!!! Guest guest
Tori, Yeah it's me. Big surprise. I was finally in shape and considering trying to start swimming and getting my bike out of the loft. Guess I won't be doing that any time soon. Good to hear from you. Guest guest
Congratulations, Ann! ) IF I have MS then I had it while pregnant. And was very aware of the possibility this last time. (Some idea the time before, but my MS-like stuff hadn't been going on until that pregnancy). During pregnancy I have pain that intensifies something fierce. But that's all I can think of. I did feel Yoga helped some. Hugs, Challis Hi group,I was just wondering about pregnancy and members of our group that have been pregnant. Just found out I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second child. Guest guest
Congrats Ann! I was Dx'd in Aug. of '01...about 10 months after my first son was born. I had another son in May '03. I found a Dr. who supported the fact that I was going to have another child, and I have to admit the second pregnancy was better than the first. I was on Avonex when I got pregnant, so as soon as I missed my first period ( and had a + test) I got off of my meds. I thougt maybe I shoud stop my meds just because we were trying for another baby, but my Dr. assured me that baby's bloodstream and mine wouldn't even connect until the egg had been fertilized for about two weeks, so it was O.K. to continue until we knew for sure. After baby#2 (Tony) my MRI's showed about 8 active lesions, so I was put on Rebif, and have been on that ever since. I hope all goes well. Blessings, Adri Ann wrote: Tori, Yeah it's me. Big surprise.
