Chronic stress is a state of ongoing physiological arousal. This occurs when a person experiences so much stress that the autonomic nervous system rarely activates the relaxation response. A wide range of signs and symptoms can arise. What is an herbalist to do?

The talk will cover:

*       Role of Glucocorticoids

*       Role of Cytokines

*       Adrenal fatigue

*       How stress presents clinically

*       Herbal treatment of chronic stress

*       Relaxation response

MNIMH  MCPP MBHMA is an established Medical Herbalist who has, alongside his holistic family practice in Greenwich, London, been training herbal medicine students since 1994.
