Hi Dan my name is Bill and I live in Indiana with my wife Judy and we have 2 kids. I am 42. I was hit with my the beginning of July 99 and by mid August I had to go on disability from my work. That all happened in a month's time for me. I didn't even know what MS was no one I knew had it except for a girl that started car pooling with me about 2 month's before my MS hit me. Her sister has MS. I never did take an interest as to what MS was.

We have been through Valdosta a few times going to Florida my wife always has to stop at that outlet mall there to buy plates.

Do you still fight fires? I know the heat from the fire must cause trouble to your MS. My biggest enemy is the heat which I hate because I love a warm day.

I am also on Copaxone and I havn't had any trouble with my MS since April of 2003 so I hope the Copaxone is doing it's job.

What kind of health troubles do you have with your MS?

Hi Dan,

Welcome to this great group. I too was shocked to learn that I had ms back

in 1984. Ms is surely a problem at times but it is a very manageable

problem and there are a lot of things that you can do to help yourself. Go

My name is Betty, age 56, married, and was dx with MS in 2001, but I think I had it earlier, but it started out with a bang for me, first the vision was messing, got over that, and now recently getting over a relasp, brought on by a urinary infection and the antibodics. I call it a MS vacation........13 days in hospital........I don't recommend it...lol.

Hi Tom

I was wondering when did you come out with your first MS book and did you do well with people buying them and also how is your new book coming along selling those?

How do you like living in Florida now are you still happy you made the move? What have you found about Florida that you have liked the most? What are your dis-likes about Florida. I am sure you will be happy with no snow in the winter time.Do you have other relatives in Florida? When you vote in Florida this year don't forget to punch those chads or did Florida fix that problem? I hope we don't have that problem during this years election again.
