Guest guest
I have been put into a situation where I am forced to be " The " speech therapist for my 5-year-old due to a faulty/insufficient school system. Through Internet research, I have found a worthwhile program that SLP's use for Apraxia of Speech called The Kaufman Method. However, this treatment kit costs nearly $200, which I do not have. Does anyone know of any scholarships I can get to cover this expense?
Guest guest
- The Arc - formerlly called the Association for Retarded Citizens - unless they have changed what the acronym means but there should be a local chapter where you live, We have a Chester County one - and they are the ones who run/organize the buddy walks. If you go to their national site - www.thearc.org - click on find a chapter, then on your state you should find one. Darlene > Never heard of it, but THANK YOU!!!
