Guest guest
I want to get a list of books for PCa patients, partners and carers to go onto the group website. This will probably be similar to the Cicle one but hopefully have some UK ones (like Jane Plant's diet book). This will be a list that members have found useful. If we can pick these up from members in a form that includes Title Author(s) Publishers ISBN no if poss Approx price A brief note as to content and why the book/literature is useful. I can build a file PS I'm in a pleased mood as I have just passed a qualification for being a parish clerk.
Guest guest
Will you be reviewing these books yourself ? I would like to submit Title " A 21st Century Understanding of Prostate Cancer " Author(s) G.A. " Sammy " Bates BA, BSc, MSc, PGCE Publishers http://www.prostateman.org ISBN no if poss N/A Approx price $25 A brief note as to content and why the book/literature is useful. I can build a file: " A 21st Century Understanding of Prostate Cancer " is written by an ex-science teacher. Based on the author's own experience of positive androgen management after surgey, radiation therapy and hormone block, the manuscript outlines five key areas where current practice in prostate cancer management is below the standard we would expect in a technologically advanced society such as ours. Sections include commentaries on: screening; treatment; disease etiology; cross cultural comparisons; different models of carcinogenesis; a safe and practical guide to positive androgen management. I have some " Wow !! " responses from readers but will not obviously disclose sources without their prior permission. Thank you for the opportunity to put this to the group. Sammy. Guest guest
Congratulations on your qualification . An example of what can be done - even by those like us who are supposed to be " terminally ill " !
