Guest guest
Hi from Sue... RE; dosages.... If I muscle test to see if I need Lysine after a meal .... and I do sometimes need 3000-5000 mgs. of Lysine after that meal... Then it's interesting that I --often --NO longer need enzymes after that meal--- (even though it indicated YES--(to enzymes).. before I INGESTED the Lysine) according to my muscle testing. Therefore I always make it a point to check my Lysine needs FIRST ----before my enzyme needs... The majority of the time I only need Lysine.. & NO enzymes after the Lysine is ingested. Vice versa.. SOMETIMES occurs as well if muscle testing enymes first.. then I need less Lysine... Same thing happens with my husband. Here are some additional BENEFITS of LYSINE:--- from several sources. Lysine: An essential, naturally occurring amino acid, ESSENTIAL for optimal growth in human INFANTS, and for maintenance of NITROGEN equilibrium in adults. 1. Reported to inhibit growth and replication of HERPES simplex and Epstein Barr viruses (EBV). (COLD sores)2. Promotes bone growth in infants. 3. Stimulates SECRETION of GASTRIC juices. 4. Found in abundance in muscle tissue, connective tissue and collagen. 5. Low in vegetarian diets. A vital CALCIUM cofactor is the amino acid LYSINE which helps with ABSORPTION of calcium in the intestinal tract.. Lysine deficiency is common in people with increased levels of calcium in their urine. Common signs of deficiency are nervousness, irritability, neuralgia, leg cramps and excessive menstruation in women. Source 2 ----Lysine helps manufacture Carnitine--- ( Carnitine can be manufactured in the body if sufficient amounts of Lysine, B,, Be, and iron are available.) Lysine: Lysine performs a number of very important roles in the body. It is best known as inhibiting the growth of viruses and is used in the treatment of herpes simplex virus. Lysine is also fundamental in creating the non-protein amino L-Carnitine which improves fat metabolism, increases energy and improves STRESS tolerance. Lysine also aids in the absorption of calcium and promotes bone growth by helping to form the fiberous protein collagen. Lysine deficiencies result in tiredness, an inability to concentrate, irritability, bloodshot eyes, a lack of growth, hair loss, anemia and reproductive problems. Hope that helps, Sue
