Guest guest Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Hello Everyone, Charlotte, Never say never. With encouragement and great spirit you may very well be able to do a full work out again. A full work out is not necessarily only the physical but a mental state of mind and spirituality in your heart and soul. About 4 years ago I was waiting for a bus to take me to work and out of no where came this crazy woman I did not know. She went behind me and started kicking me, I fell to the floor where she kept kicking me in my neck, back and side with steel toe boots. I was taken to the hospital with damage to my cervix, neck and she damaged my back. 3 straight needle pin pricks away from my spine. I was told that I would either never walk again, or be in a wheel chair. I excepted my fate and tried to go on with my life always in pain and honestly gave up for almost 2 years. Sitting home feeling down and blue I saw the commercial for Tae Bo. I bought the tapes and I put them in the VCR and listened, listened and listened to them. I did not actually start any physical work outs but at that point I could not do them anyway. They helped me mentally and spiritually prepare myself for what I know needed to be done. My point is. I knew I needed to do something. my inspiration made me get to my physical therapy sessions. No matter how hard it was or how little I was able to do. I knew in my heart right then and there that he was assisting me to make great and wonderful changes in my life. I am no longer in a wheel chair, I can walk, even though I still have a few aches and pains almost on a daily bases. I never will give up again. I have been doing Tae Bo now religiously for 6 months and now my personal goal is to become an instructor so that I may pass the blessings that was given to me on to others. So blessings to you. I have faith that you will reach for the Stars and be where you in your heart know you can and will achieve. Just believe and have faith. I have faith in you!!!!!!!!!! Brightest Blessings, Starr* > > *she blushes* > > Thank-you. > > You all are encouragers for me, also. I push for that extra minute or so, > knowing that I'm going to " report " to you all.
