Coupla Questions...maybe NCC

1. What exactly is tethered cord? I feel like a goof, not a newbie here,

but it has been talked about SO much recently that I'm getting really

curious...My mom is seeing a doc, she has Chiari and EDS, and he said that

the plates on the top of the head can be (not his words) cattywompus from

the Chiari and the cord...he pressed on the top of her head and she got

twinges on her spine.

2. Does anyone have a feeling like you are dropping about 10 feet in an

elevator, slamming to a stop and getting shocked at the same time? Is there

a name for this?
