Honestly, I don't know. It SEEMS like I've been sick for 3 years. I've

always had sinus and allergy problems though, most of my life, they just

seem to be worsening since we moved in to this house. I also happen to live

in one of the worst areas for allergy sufferers (Texas Hill Country). What

I'm noticing more is that my kids have been sick more often. My youngest is

just over 3 himself so he's been here since he was crawling, and my older

child seems to have more coughing and respiratory problems, suspiciously

asthma like (though the doc says no asthma, I'm not convinced). Just

frequent fevers, runny noses, coughs, and general malaise. Everyone seems to

be always fighting off or getting over something.. thankfully not often sick

enough to be bedridden, but always feeling fairly yucky.

Myself it's starting EVERY day with a killer sinus headache that is only

relieved (and sometimes not even then) with 2 Tylenol, 2 sudafed, and a hot

hot shower. Then I'm usually gone for about 4-6 hours a day, and by the

time I come home and have dinner and am ready for bed, I'm needing more

decongestants. In addition, fatigue, concentration problems, no energy,

that could have many causes of course.

One difference is that we have more pets now. Previously we rented or lived

in apartments with 'no pet' rules, and we only had one dog, or one cat, or

no pets as they were " farmed out " to my parents. Now that we're in our own

house we have 3 cats and 2 longhaired dogs. Maybe it's the animals? I hope

not, but I realize it could be.

There have been no major leaks that I know of; the house was built in 1976

or so though. There was a washing machine fiasco when we first moved in,

water all over the tile floors, but cleaned up quickly and no problems

since. There's also a problem with the hall bath (constant urine smell) and

we can't figure that one out. Tile floors in there also. Carpet only in

the bedrooms.

Oh, I should add to this: everyone BUT my husband. He is almost never

sick, and he is home all day as well. So can this affect all but one member

of a household??
