My doctor said his second choice would be Zovirak or Zovirax but he doesn't know if it works as well. Also said he would prefer Valtrex over Acyclovir. So i went on the internet and found out that the official generic for Valtrex is Valacyclovir.  I found it relatively cheap in Canada and am having the prescription filled. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried Valacyclovir instead of Valtrex with good results.
