Guest guest
Hullo everyone Just to let you know that I had my last visit to St 's to tidy up the vaccine trial. I had blood taken, including some blood for immunolgy tests. The trial is now running down with just one or two finishing the first year and a few on follow up continuation. I am going back to see them about a low dose chemotherapy - one daily tablet of chlorophosphamide. This is another trial that St 's are running. Best wishes all
Guest guest
Interested to hear that you may be on another St s trial . As you know, I am on low dose continuous chemo - cyclophosphamide. So far so good, PSA rise slowed. Awaiting next test on 17 February. Is Dr Pandha comparing one with the other I wonder? I'll ask him about it when I am next there. Could be interesting. I have been following the comments from various group colleagues about the relationship of their PSA to their particular state. Mine was up to 136 a couple of years ago, brought down by Casodex & later by Zoladex when the former lost effect then down to 9 on the Onyvax vaccine after the Zoladex effect waned. Currently 61.5, no known mets., only the local spread which was identified when I was first diagnosed four years ago with a Gleason score of 7. Best wishes to all, End of one trial - Start of another??? > Hullo everyone > > Just to let you know that I had my last visit to St 's to tidy up the > vaccine trial.
